I’m not a professional photographer – does that matter?
While primarily we work with Professionals, particularly in our busiest times, we are happy to provide a no-obligation quotation on your photos along with any comments we may have. We ask that you send the best quality (largest copy) of the photo(s) you have along with details of what you’re looking for. Once agreed we provide a low resolution Proof image by email for approval prior to payment / sending the final full resolution image. Feel free to send us an email for further details.
I am a professional photographer – what services do you offer?
For Professionals, we offer a variety of services that include the following:
- retouching for competition work and for Professional Panel submission: we have a tailored workflow for this that includes iterations to ensure the desired final result
- individual retouching for specific images as the need arises
- full shoot retouching to cover portraits, baby shoots, weddings and corporate work
- head / eye swaps as needed
For these please contact us to discuss exact requirements, workflow, costs etc.
How much does it cost?
That depends entirely on how long the retouching will take. Please feel free to send us your images for a free, no-obligation quotation.
I’m not in the UK – does that matter?
No, not in the least. We work with photographers worldwide.
I didn’t take the photograph – is that ok?
That’s fine, but you must own the copyright of any images you wish to have copied or manipulated or have permission to do so. If you’re not sure, please check with the photographer before sending them. By sending us an image for retouching, you are confirming that you have the legal copyright – we cannot be held responsible for any breach of copyright.
What software do you use and will it look natural?
We are always on the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CC and use this and Adobe Lightroom to produce the results. We are great believers in ensuring any changes are natural and undetectable (no one wants photos that look ‘Photoshopped’!) and will always be honest if we don’t feel the results will meet expectations.
How do I send files?
For one-off’s, WeTransfer is the easiest way to send us photos for retouching (there is a free version), along with an email of instructions. Regular customers may to prefer to use full FTP accounts instead.
You could also send files on disc through the postal service. If you choose to do this, please do NOT send the original files – send a copy! Your USB can be returned on request at a cost of £2.00 each, to cover postage charges. Please do not send hard drives, these will incur a much higher postage charge back to you.
How long does it take?
Turnaround times are usually around 3 working days, we are happy to confirm this as a part of any quotation.
How do I pay?
There are plenty of different payment options all listed on the Contact page.
Please note we have a £10 minimum order charge.
