FTP is a means of transferring files over the internet, without blocking up your email account.
If you're just transferring a few files for retouching or test files, you could use my FTP Server Web Interface.
If you're transferring a larger number of files, proper FTP software is a more flexible choice. In case you're not already familiar with FTP software, I have written instructions for few of my favourite FTP programs, most of which are free to download and use.
